BATTLE OF THE WORDS

Wenn live performte Bühnenlyrik Jugendliche anzieht wie ein Rockkonzert, dann ist das U20-Poetry Slam! Beim Dichterwettkampf mit Kultstatus stellen sich die „Slammer“ auf die Bühne, alleine oder im Team und performen ihren selbst geschriebenen Text. In einem fünfminütigen Vortrag stellen sich die Sprachkünstler einer Publikumsjury – dem Gewinner winkt neben dem Ruhm natürlich auch ein Preis.   

Alle Stile von Prosa über Lyrik, von Rap bis Comedy sind erlaubt. Es kommt bei der Performance auf Klang, Originalität und Publikumskontakt an. Bewertet wird sowohl der Inhalt der Texte als auch die Art des Vortrags.

Teilnehmen können alle, die die formalen Voraussetzungen (unter 20 Jahre, eigener Text, Zeitbegrenzung auf fünf Minuten, keine Kostüme oder/und Requisiten, rechtzeitige Anmeldung) erfüllen.

Die Teilnehmerzahl ist begrenzt. Nach Eingang der Bewerbungen trifft das Organisationsteam seine Auswahl. Alle Einsender erhalten eine Rückmeldung.

Im Rahmen der „Jungen Künste“ eröffnet die Stadt Garbsen die „Battle of the words“ am 06. März 2009.

Der 1. Garbsener U20-Poetry Slam wird moderiert von Netotal!

So we got interviewed live at the Triple xXx Party at the Shopping Plaza in Garbsen...
It was definitely an experience...although the Party wasn't really that, what we thought! hahaha
